HelloGem receives the ingredient name, result limit or ingredient ID that ChatGPT sends to a tool. It stores that request and the exact tool result under a random request ID so feedback can refer to the right answer. If you send feedback, it also stores your chosen category, evidence or reproduction steps, and suggested solution. It does not request accounts, email addresses, payment details, full conversations, health profiles or precise location. Please keep personal and medical information out of searches and feedback.
Request/result records and feedback are stored privately with encryption in Amazon Web Services S3. They are used to investigate issues and improve the service. Records expire after 365 days; storage expiry is processed by AWS and may take additional time. Feedback includes its exact request/result when available. If a technical failure prevents saving the original result, the report says it couldn't be linked and retains only the notes you provide. Request bodies are not written to diagnostic logs. The application does not maintain per-user or per-address profiles. A shared request counter limits traffic.
DigitalOcean hosts the service and handles network and operational metadata. AWS stores the reference records and feedback in Frankfurt, Germany. OpenAI handles your ChatGPT conversation and tool calls under your account's policies. The operator can access stored records to investigate feedback. HelloGem does not send searches to upstream ingredient websites or advertising providers, and does not sell personal information.
You can stop using or disconnect the plugin in ChatGPT. OpenAI manages your conversation-history controls. Contact the operator with the request ID or feedback ID to request access to or deletion of a stored record; the operator handles these requests within 30 days. Because we don't require accounts or identity details, those IDs help us locate your records. Support emails are deleted within 30 days after resolution unless legally required otherwise.
