HelloGem helps ChatGPT look up ingredient names and explain what its sources document: cosmetic functions from EU CosIng and chemical roles from ChEBI. If a name could mean more than one ingredient, it shows the options.
The catalogue contains 181,143 ingredient records. Cosmetic functions are listed for 8,668 and chemical roles for 2,629. Some roles are inferred from cosmetic functions and marked that way; many ingredients have no listed properties yet.
